A Message From Your President – A Time of Reinvention

DEAR CHEF/ACHE FRIENDS,

We are at a time of reinvention in the healthcare industry. For many, this opportunity will be a defining career moment, whether you be a C-Suite health system executive, health practitioner, senior leader, midlevel managers, entry level employee or new to healthcare.

Similarly, opportunities are great for innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, professors, consultants, technology companies, vendors, as well as managed care companies, pharmaceutical companies and niche players with capabilities to think differently about strategy, problem solving and execution of key healthcare initiatives in support of population health management.

It is a very exciting time to be in healthcare, as we are actualizing a multigenerational and multicultural workforce to forge solutions that drive us from volume to value and improve the health of our communities.

We are three quarters of the way through the year. It is a good time to reflect on the professional and personal goals still on our list to accomplish this year. ?Fall is a very robust time in Chicago with many incredible industry events to facilitate your CHEF/ACHE reconnection.

Some believe there is not enough time to stay connected to professional industry associations like CHEF/ACHE. I challenge that with the opposite thinking.? Today?s exceptional healthcare leaders cannot afford NOT to have an association home. It is well recognized as a differentiator amongst A- Listers at the top of their game.

CHEF/ACHE is a phenomenal and collaborative place to connect and learn from the best and brightest nationally and in our own Chicago marketplace. In this time of industry, professional and personal reinvention, we are here to support you and your organization.
