A Message From Your President, September 2021
Dear Chapter Members –
Over the years, chapter members of the Chicago Health Executives Forum have been able to participate in meaningful and powerful professional development opportunities that broaden their knowledge and professional network. Our Chapter Members, exceeding 1400 Members including 230 Fellows, add significant value to the chapter experience by participating as panelists and participants.
A huge debt of gratitude goes to our volunteer board of directors, committee members, and volunteer chapter leaders who have helped to coordinate and develop education and networking opportunities that our Chapter has come to rely on. In a challenging 2020 and 2021, we have had to pivot to a virtual environment while continuing to offer 45 stellar events sharing best practices and more to keep you engaged and involved. Our aim in the 2022 – 2024 CHEF Strategic Plan will be to continue to develop chapter member focused education / networking experiences driving member satisfaction, chapter growth to promote diversity, and advancement of chapter members to FACHE certification.
Together, as a Chapter, we have focused on:
- Developing YOU by providing opportunities to become involved in the CHEF Chapter. If you are interested in learning how to become more involved, visit: CHEF Standing Committees – Volunteer Today!
- Educating YOU to help you navigate the changing landscape of health
- Giving Back through volunteer opportunities and fundraising to support our community
Our Board is excited to partner with YOU in your investment and propel you closer to achieving the requirements for initial advance or recertification of the FACHE credential by developing YOU, educating YOU, and giving back.
Leslie Johnson, President
