CHEF Members – Apply for Fellow Status Today

The importance of earning the distinction of board certification as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives cannot be overstated. Encouraging your chapter members to take the next step in advancing their careers by achieving Fellow status benefits their professional goals and the healthcare management profession as it demonstrates a healthcare leader?s competence, leadership skills and commitment to excellence in the field.

Fellow applicants who successfully meet all requirements by Dec. 31, including passing the Board of Governors Examination, will be eligible to participate in the 2017 Convocation Ceremony at the 2017 Congress on Healthcare Leadership.

Starting January 26, 2017, CHEF will offer a 6-week mentoring group session for ACHE members who are working on their career development, pursuing their FACHE credential, and desiring a group educational environment. The study sessions will be 3 hours in length, with approximately 2.5 hours of content review and 30 minutes of discussion. The lectures will be delivered by local experienced healthcare leaders. ?A Fellow will be present at most sessions to answer ACHE- or CHEF-related questions. ?CHEF has applied for Category II credits for these lectures, which will be confirmed as soon as the schedule of speakers is finalized.

The 6-week exam preparatory session will cost $100. Registration is now available via www.chefchicago.org. Sessions will start on Thursday, January 26, 2017 and end Thursday, March 2nd.
