Georgia Casciato, FACHE Appointed Interim Regent for Metropolitan Chicago

American College of Healthcare Executives has appointed Georgia Casciato, FACHE, to serve as Interim Regent for Metropolitan Chicago through March 2022.

Georgia has a long history with CHEF, having served twice as President in 2016 & 2009. She also served CHEF in many  leadership roles in marketing, awards, as well as program development & facilitation. She has also served on many ACHE committees including the Editorial Board of Frontiers of Healthcare Management and in an advisory role to ACHE’s Healthcare Consultant Forum.

At this year’s  ACHE Congress, Georgia developed and moderated a panel discussion on “Executive Decision-Making and Team Alignment in a Digital World,” with  executives from Advocate-Aurora and Accenture.  She has a 30 year career in healthcare with health systems, large consultancies and her own healthcare strategy firm.  She is a frequent industry speaker, writer and contributor.

This interim appointment fills the vacancy of Kenneth Jones, FACHE, Former President at AMITA Health, St Francis Hospital in Evanston. Kenneth joined Northwest Medical Center (HCA Healthcare) in South Florida as CEO on March 15,2021.

The next election for this Regent position will be in fall 2021, with a term that begins March 2022. Georgia is eligible to run for her own elected term, following this interim appointment.
