It’s a busy and exciting time for CHEF and our members! A President’s Message.
It’s a busy and exciting time for CHEF and our members!
I just attended the IHA Leadership Summit, along with Dr. Rupert Evans (our ACHE Regent) and several other CHEF leaders and members. The Summit had over 200 attendees and included 3 hours of informative Face to Face panels, organized by CHEF. Our Education & Networking Committee has planned several more stimulating events between now and the end of the year, including: 7.5 hours of Face to Face credits, three C-Suite dinners, several networking events and more. For details and to register, read the CHEF Friday E-Blasts, or look on the CHEF website.
The Nominating Committee is in the process of evaluating applicants for the CHEF Board positions that will be open. Look for the slate to come out in October for your approval.
Mark your calendars and tell your friends! The CHEF Annual Meeting will be at Soldier Field on February 12th. Plans are well underway for a revised format, including a thought-provoking speaker, terrific networking and well-earned awards. The awards will be:
- Healthcare Leadership Award
- Career Achievement Award
- Health Studies Student/ Admin Fellow Leadership Award
- Innovations Award
- Service Excellence Award
- Community Leadership Award
- Young Healthcare Executive Award
Do you know someone, or a team, who is deserving of one of these awards? Watch your emails for the opportunity to nominate them.
We are always looking for feedback and involvement, from you, the CHEF membership. Please feel free to reach out to me, or any of our Board members.
