PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

My responsibilities as Regent include working with Program Directors and healthcare graduate students from the Higher Education Network of Academic Institutions in Metropolitan Chicago. I am often asked about professional development strategies for maximizing healthcare opportunities. This response applies to healthcare professionals, regardless of where they are on the career continuum: student, early-mid careerist, executive or C-Level Executive.

“Think about where and how you’d like to contribute. Expand your network for where and how you choose to learn; whether it be through professional associations; what you read; programs & webinars you attend; and the people you talk to. Think about cross industry collaborations, as well as best practices, inside and outside of healthcare. Fill your future with possibilities – based on who and what you include from the aforementioned.”

As we all work together to advance the field and path for healthcare leaders, ACHE is here to help you navigate your professional journey.

All My Best-
