Join the CHEF UNIVERSITY 2015:? FACHE Mentoring and Board of Governors (BOG) Exam Study Group

Starting January 14, 2015, with the last session being held on Thursday, March 5th (no class on Wednesday, February 25th due to the CHEF Annual Meeting) , CHEF will offer a 7-week mentoring group session for ACHE members who are working on their career development, pursuing their FACHE status, and desiring a group educational environment. The study sessions will be 3 hours in length, with 2.5 hours of content review and 30 minutes of discussion and will be held at the University of Illinois Chicago, COMRB Building (2nd Floor, Room 2175), 909 S. Wolcott Avenue, Chicago, IL,? 60612 from 6:00 – 9:00pm. The lectures will be delivered by local experienced healthcare leaders. ?A Fellow will be present at most sessions to answer ACHE- or CHEF-related questions. ?CHEF has applied for Category II credits for these lectures, which will be confirmed as soon as the schedule of speakers is finalized.? One of the key goals of the Chicago Health Executives Forum (CHEF), the metropolitan Chicago local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), is to provide educational and mentoring opportunities for healthcare executives, particularly those interested in pursuing Fellow status in ACHE. Of CHEF?s 1,800+ members, over 600 are eligible to advance to Fellow.? Becoming board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow (FACHE), you?ll have the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed and move forward in your healthcare career.

The 7-week mentoring session will cost $100. Registration is now available via www.chefchicago.org. Sessions will start on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 and end Thursday, March 5th (no class Wednesday, February 25th due to CHEF Annual Meeting). Garage and Street Parking are available.?? Details regarding Registration:

? Should a person attend all 7 sessions, $50 of your $100 will be refunded to you.
? Should a person schedule their BOG exam by April 30 2015, an additional $50 will be refunded to you.
? Participants who attend at least 5 sessions will be entered into a drawing for a free CHEF event registration.
? 30 participants maximum
? ACHE reference books are available, purchase is not required. Materials will be provided electronically. ? The schedule will be posted for the sessions, with topics assigned to certain dates. ??Should a member wish to attend just one session, the cost will be $40.
