Elizabeth E. Early is a nationally recognized healthcare executive with over 25 years of progressive leadership experience across academic medical centers, community hospitals, and integrated health systems. As President of Loyola University Medical Center within Trinity Health, she has led transformative initiatives that have significantly improved clinical performance, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.

Prior to her appointment at LUMC Elizabeth served as the President of Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, within the Trinity Health Loyola Medicine region for over 4 years. Under her leadership, Gottlieb saw dramatic growth in surgical specialties, a 25% increase in operating room volume, and a financial turnaround resulting in a 4.6% operating margin—7% ahead of plan. Elizabeth has championed culture change, quality improvement, and regional integration, including the development of a centralized laboratory now serving multiple states.

Her career spans executive roles at Ascension Health, University of Chicago Medicine, and Deloitte Consulting, where she delivered multimillion-dollar improvements in operations, strategy, and patient care. Elizabeth holds a Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University and is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

She is also a dedicated academic contributor, serving as a guest lecturer and preceptor for graduate students at the University of Illinois Chicago and an advisory board member at Loyola University’s Parkinson School of Health Sciences.
